Scar Tape

2.5 x 150cm

The Nokori Scar Tape is a thin, atraumatic and reusable 100% medical-grade silicone dressing designed to help flatten and soften new and old surgical or injury-related scars. It is indicated to support optimal scarring and minimise the risk of hypertrophic or keloid scars.

How to use the Scar Tape:

The Scar Tape is atraumatic and should adapt smoothly to body contours.

Application:

  • Ensure the skin is clean and dry
  • If combining with the Scar Balm, wait at least 6 hours for it to absorb into the skin
  • Tear or cut the tape to the desired size and shape
  • Remove the protective liner and apply the tape along the scar line, without stretching
  • Leave the tape on for 1–7 days, following either the daily or weekly routine (see alternating routines for more details)
  • If needed, remove and reposition or store carefully for later use (beware of hairs, dust, and other irritants)
  • Use for a minimum of 12 weeks, and up to 12 months

Skin Sensitivity

Mild skin reactions to adhesives can happen. If so, shorten the use interval or pause entirely and focus on using the Scar Balm only.

Scar Balm

Available in 10ml + 30ml

Created in collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and patients, the Nokori Scar Balm combines a powerful mix of 100% natural plant extracts recognised for their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and their restorative attributes for the skin.

It is specifically designed to protect, replenish and strengthen the damaged skin barrier and help patients manage the appearance of their scars. It is formulated using certified organic and 100% natural ingredients.

The Nokori Scar Balm has been precisely formulated to be massaged into scars. Using the balm to massage your scar for 1-2 minutes helps to break down tough collagen fibres present in scarring.

How to use the Scar Balm:

The Scar Balm is specifically designed for scar massage and seamlessly integrates into your self-care routine

Before you begin:

  • Your incisions must be fully healed and stable
  • Do not massage an unsealed scar or a scab
  • If unsure, check with your medical team to confirm your scar is ready for massage

Massaging too early can reopen the scar or increase the risk of infection. Always wait until your scar is completely sealed and stable.

To apply:

  • Use once or twice daily
  • Place a small amount onto your fingertip — just enough to cover the entire scar with a thin layer (a little goes a long way)
  • Start gently massaging the balm into the scarred area using steady motions to move the scar and skin, rather than just rubbing the surface
  • Apply firm but gentle pressure — you should see the skin whiten slightly, indicating you’re moving the scar tissue itself
  • Work your way across the entire scar and surrounding area for 3 to 5 minutes

Recommended duration:

  • Massage for a minimum of 12 weeks
  • For best results, continue to massage for up to 12 months

Probiotic Wash

100ml

The Nokori Probiotic Wash is specifically designed to keep your skin and scar clean from harmful bacteria while preventing dryness in the treated area.

It contains Lactobacillus Ferment, a powerful probiotic that is known to nurture the skin’s flora, balance its pH and strengthen the skin’s natural defences against irritants.

How to use the Probiotic Wash

To prepare for your procedure, add it to your shower routine up to one week before surgery, and continue use as soon as you begin showering again.

  • Once a day, gently massage one pump into the treated area and surrounding skin
  • Avoid using on broken skin or open wounds, as this may cause irritation or discomfort
  • If showering is uncomfortable post-surgery, apply the wash to a warm flannel and gently cleanse the area and exposed surrounding skin

The gentle massage promotes circulation and reduces swelling, while the active ingredients help inhibit the growth of bacteria or dirt that may be present on your skin.

An important part of the healing process

The Probiotic Wash is specially formulated to help keep your skin clean and reduce the risk of infection following your procedure. Consistent use, as directed, will help you get the best results.

If you experience any irritation or adverse reaction, stop use immediately and consult your doctor.
